Louisiana swamp low eighties,
Unseasonably warm;
The sun is hot, winter did flee,
This just isn't the norm.

People having to cut their grass,
It should be dead and brown;
Where has frozen ground gone, en masse?"
Lawns have donned a green gown.

I wear T's and shorts to walk my mutt
Joggers likewise attired;
In this hot weather hard to strut.
Will summer be as dire?

I heard someone say its our fate,
Doomsayers are a bore;
I'll admit we're in a strange state,
Just listen to AlGore.

The memories flood in reading this.
You didn't mention the flying
Volkswagen size mosquitoes ...

Enjoyed the read.

The mosquitoes are large enough to be tax deductions.  I certainly feed enough of the little stinkers.

I was thinking this the night before last, how it feels unseasonably warm.  It was really lovely though, late afternoon with a slight breeze.     Love evenings like that.
