Fair to middlin' of nowhere

0 posted 2012-01-01 07:40 AM

Where did  it go
we often wonder
Seems like just yesterday
we say
How does time
seem to go faster
when there are always
twenty-four hours
in every day
Some days
seem to drag on
forever
Yet this lagging
adds no length
to any year
spinning to an end

Time seems so subjective.  Although, the older I get, the quicker it seems to pass by.

Lori, I sometimes wish I wore the wings of morning just so I could keep up, and the eyes of night, so that I miss nothing magical.  It never stands still, though, and I'm guilty of blinking.
