     Keep Filled and Pass that
     'Cup of kindness', Friends

Ancient thoughts and wonderings
mid whispers of immortality
drift in and out of consciousness
like a weightless Celtic melody
among the standing stones
   of memory
on this night of passages
beneath a vast-eternal sky
of clouds and stars and dreams
another year…
another  chance … to simply ‘be.’
to laugh,  to sing and dance
and cheat for awhile perhaps …
that thief of Time?!

            ---  b. e. adams [12/31/2011]

A very Happy New Year to all the grand poets who traverse
these fine blue sands of "P.I.P.-land" by the cyber-sea!

Bruce, you sure spin beautiful poems.  They remind me of .. okay, this is hokey .. but they remind me of spider webs when they glisten in the sun.  Your words branch out into beautiful images.

Thank you.

Happy New Years, b. e. adams, I thoroughly enjoyed your transference poem, from old into the new. May the coming year be all you want it to be.

Bruce, the beauty of your poem and its Namaste and Hogmanay quality, along with your message at the bottom, brought tears to my eyes at the joy of being part of the Pip family, those here and those who have passed on, but are still with us in our hearts.  Thank you, and Happy New Year to you and all of the Pip family and its extended members.

And Alison, hokey or not, your reply is a beautiful poetic image and a perfect description of Bruce's poetry especially this poem.

Thank you all for your 'comment/reply' posts!

... and yes, the tip to Namaste (actually Namo Aste
or Naman Astitva from the Sanskrit) and Hogmanay
    were intended.

And to sip from that cup of kindness... What a beautiful plea for any night of the year! *S*
