       'Endless' Mt. Forests

Here ...

I become the deep-forest path
  to nowhere
in answer to the siren call
of this limpid December night
and the few soft-velvet clouds
  of late-evening grey
that sail the infinite oceans of
  space and time
with a fine, mystic moon
and the dance of shadows
to the forgiving starry silence
of Nature's immeasurable truths.

You make me feel part of your nature dream and I am sailing along across the infinite oceans of space and time ....

Very beautiful!

Merry Christmas!

Love and peace.

I loved how you opened with this, becoming the path, and the symbolism it plays through the poem.  The poem itself is very serene, and peaceful - very much 'larger' than we are, in it's simplicity.  Very nicely done.

One of your best, Bruce - possibly your very best, in my humble opinion.

Excellent nature treated poetry. Every line was steeped in nature's many mysteries and worthwhileness.
