Love Will Have Its Way

"Love, why are you so elusive."

Into my arms
out of my arms
neither here nor there,
everywhere.
Darn it girl
you're so complicated
that even I
can't figure you out.
and yet no need to
no want or desire to.
Love grows on drama
love thrives in mystery
love craves compatability
and love requires freedom.
Seekers of passion
wanters of desire
searchers for truth.
We are two lovers
learning how to love
you and I
yes me and my sweetheart,
and someday
love will have
it way.
