Here I sit lonely and sad.
Only for a bit did I add,
these feelings I have inside
with a bit of rhythm and rhyme.
From the start all looks fair,
deeper you go the worse the air.
Rhythm ran wild leaving rhyme far behind.
To see one by itself is sad,
when apart it is bad.
Together they must be, for
there not to be a fee. Oh
these feelings would be great, if
rhythm and rhyme would co-operate.

There always has to be a party-pooper, and in this case it looks like you have two of them.

"rhythm and rhyme would co-operate."

We don't need no stinking co-operation...

Just
Let it all go like you did here.
Enjoyed!!
