My mind marches to the path of chaos,
I feel so drained, trying to carry on with the last flicker of strength,
Too often, I amaze myself as to what I can do,
Warrior façade is fading, not shaking myself out of this tune,
I want to consume all the evil and hurt that the world puts out,
Channel it in a way as to let it all shine through,
Heard myself say the same line over the years,
There is nothing more I fear than living this life full of unaccountable fears,
In an instance, the world can just pass me by, dragging all I was under its wing,
Last thing I care to subdue are my thoughts, as my mind continues to rot,
Iron shackles cannot detain it, for something amazing is bound to occur,
Left behind will be a legendary tale of a man so exhausted that he never gives up,
For the guilt of loss is too strong, he cleaves to his stubborn self,
Familiar conditions are met with an immense sense of grief that tears cannot portray them properly,
Inadequate is his self worth today, as the days have turned into a week, and then continues on forevermore,
To the society’s demand he does not succumb too, failing miserably of convincing them to believe him,
Looking for the lost soul, he searches within to see if he can find him there,
It has been too long since he has felt such a way, enjoying every wretched turn on this emotional coaster,
Toying with him at every waking moment, capturing what remains of his humanity,
Submitting to the will of his own vices, he degenerates into the crowd, blending in amongst the rest,
Stolen are his remaining artifacts, betrayed by his inner worth, waiting for time to show the markers,
Friends and foes will relive him in their thoughts, as he seeks to find someplace else to rest.

I speak insanity. I write fantasy. I sleep reality.

This line speaks volumes.
Excellent write.

Too often, I amaze myself as to what I can do,

I extrapolate this sentence and visualize it in its positive meaning.

Our dualistic nature often leads us into chaos, but we have the tools to find a way out of it into clarity.

Excellent, thought provoking write.
