The One Thing I Am Certain Of

Sometimes I want to say
"If you go away, then stay."
because I don't like the
uncertainy of the coming & going.
When she's here,
how long will she stay
before she goes away.
If she won't committ to staying
I have to accept her coming & going
or I can tell her
"The next time you leave, stay away."
Truthfully, I struggle with my
strengths and my weaknesses
but I don't want her to stay away
because I love her
and in this relationship
the one thing I am certain of
is my love for her, and isn't
that a good thing to be certain of?
