Fair to middlin' of nowhere

Deep dark just right red
soft fine knit
a collar rolled and dipped
to there
A perfect fit
feels good on me
A sweater full of memory
A treasure from
the last shopping trip
with my mother

Aw, this is sweet, Lori, my friend. What a nice poem, such memories, to last a lifetime.

Wore it yesterday and I remembered the day she and I bought it.  I find myself holding on to her memories as she is losing hers.  Thanks my friend.

So sad that is happening to your mother. Memories, at a time like this, are most important.

Believe it or not, you don't want to
stop making memories with her.
Sending warm hugs not only to you,
but to your Mom and Dad as well.

We aren't. Every Sunday we have supper together but it is getting too cold so we will be bringing food to them so they don't have to get out.  They love company (hint)

What a sweet girl you are.  Excellent attitude in a sweet-poem.

And under that red sweater there beats a tender heart!

Lovely and poignant, dear Lori.

So sorry about your mother losing her memories but you will remember and that's wonderful - and the sweater sounds lovely!
