Lumpy oatmeal makes me crazy!

never thought much about bald
one way or another
never thought it defined a man
and hey!    If that’s what a woman wants
who am I to care?
Bald - some say it is beautiful.
all I know is this

Ready for the pearl of wisdom?

bald is not beautiful on tires
nope, not one iota of beauty
in a bald tire and if there are four
all around a car
well, specifically, my car
all I learned is this

Ready for another pearl of wisdom?

bald is expensive
and that’s all I have to say about

BALD

(the word may look funny
but it really ain’t funny)

We should pass a collection plate around pip to pay for your four bald tires. Hmm, if that would work, I have a few things that a collection plate could be sent across these blue pages! Seriously speaking, Ali, 4 bald tires is nothing to sneeze at! ~ and it's dangerous to drive your car until you have them replaced.
As per usual, I found your rant rather amusing.

In the meantime, be CAREFUL!!!

Loves 'n hugs,
Linder Lou

Oh sweet friend, I had 4 new tires put on this morning.  The $$$ (cost) inspired the rant!!!  Thank you Linder Lou.

Well founded/written rant my friend.  Have lived your plight a number of times in my life.

And the best way I found to replace tires was to start putting a couple bucks here and there into an envelope marked TIRES in prep. for the next time.

Oh poor kid-o!
I know the feeling.
Bald is bad!!
At least you can drive safe for the next 40 to 60 thousand miles.
Hopefully!

I just had to buy ONE and my wallet's still whimpering for even the cheapest tires are far from cheap!!! So you definitely have my sympathy... and my agreement... bald on a tire is just plain UGLY!!! LOL

haha!  My Papaw used to say, "God made a few perfect heads, the rest He put hair on."

But you're right, bald tires are not so hot!

thanks for the laugh.

Hey, better than going out and buying a new husky for the dogsled!

Face it, Alison. The day comes for all of us to re-tire. That's life

I need to have rtwo replaced myself.  But you're twice as tired as I am, and I can hardly stay a wake.  Thank heavens your wake was stayed by such prompt if expensive action.  All my best, Bob Kaven

Ouch, Alison, so very ouch!  I understand the difference between "oh, I need to get new tyres" and "how am I going to manage to pay for a new tyre - let alone FOUR!" only too well.
