the rain pitter-patters
outside my window
it has been raining forever
it seems
making the night wonderfully intimate
this soft, relentless rain
as I sit here I watch her
outside in the rain
wearing a simple dress
saturated with the rain
glued to her skin
clinging, and outlined for my eyes only
she leans her head back, laughing
her hair comes undone
she shakes it like a wild woman
and wild woman she is
with me
my woman
as wild as she wants to be
we have this rapport
that rain, snow, earthquakes
cannot still our hearts
stop the love
we share for the other
I sit inside watching
her very personal performance
arms outstretched
looking straight at my window
laughing
forever laughing
whirls around
stops dancing
holds her arms out toward me
begins to walk toward the window
I open it as if on command
reaching through it
I lift her wet, clinging body
into my arms
into my love

This is lovely!! I felt as though I was watching... (but I turned away before I peeked onto anything too private. LOL)

Wow, Jerry.  This is a great write.  I could see her walking into your room through that window and right into your outstretched arms.
Nice one, really, really nice.

Nice to see your heart beating, my friend, and looking forward - nay, running I should say, leading the wind...

Cool write...

I enjoyed this scenery, Jerry, who can resist the charm of a raindance like this?

Beautiful!
