With Christmas fast approaching folks
I'm not sure if this is a joke
More "truth" than "strange" it seems to me
"High Court Rules No Nativity"

An E-mail I have just recieved
confirms what I have long believed
but not for reasons you'd expect
Faith based? Politically correct?

No, seems there will be no display
commemorating Christmas day
The stable has been overfilled
with "asses" per the "people's" will

Yet three roles couldn't be filled you see
there are no wise men in D.C.

Your words echo from coast to coast.
Words worthy, from me, a toast!
To you my friend, your words I will boast!
Truth is ringing loud and clear
The PC police are not for peace, but instead, for pushing fear.

Thank you #1

Thanks for posting these excellent words. Someone needs to stand up for American values and stop appeasing other cultures, in the U.S.A.

I wonder if there are any in politics anywhere? *S*

'Tis a painful smile this brings, Doc... it would be far funnier if it was fiction. *S*

Lori,
Thanks gal, always my pleasure.
Doc

JL,
No, thank you for the satisfaction of knowing that I have briefly brought a smile to someones' face.
Doc

Melton,
Thanks, couldn't agree more, if satire helps I'm all for it, lol.
Doc

Balladeer,
M'friend you obviously got the same e-mail, lol. I was going to mention Olive Oil, but didn't want to offend Popeye, lol.
Doc

suthern,
Thanks, yes it is a sad smile, or wry humor, or whatever you want to call it, but, I simply have to find the humor where ever I can as I believe there is far too little in our daily lives.

JL,
LOL, can't take credit for that one, but, if I had engineered it, it wouldn't have had so many pressure leaks and would have gone farther, lol. Thanks for the laugh.

You speak for so many, here, Dr. Moose. What is happening to this country. I am not a religious person, (though I believe in a higher power) but I am so tired of the constant attack on our traditions and freedoms. Politically correct is getting to be a sickening concept.

Ida,
Thank you, sad but true, and sadder yet, only one of the lesser problems we face.
