Lumpy oatmeal makes me crazy!

My Dad always used to yell
"Don't kiss the cat!"
Tonight, I think of him

As I kiss the cat!

My father would say the same sort of things to me and like you I make sure I do what I want to now. That's probably up at 12:38 and will stay up as long as I like.

There's nothing more special
than opening a poem
and spilling over it all
with laughter!

Probably now your Dad smiles along with you and Kaz!

A kiss ... a memory ... precious!

Zelda is also used to morning kisses, good night kisses and ... yes in-between kisses. We both can't do without, quite simply!

This is so lovely, dear Alison!

And I thought I was the only one.  I too was a father that had to tell my kids that exact same thing.
They did it all the time, made me crazy.
Maybe you didn't take his advice but you never forgot it either.
Lovely write, and memories.

If not for the cats, whom would I kiss? *puzzled look* LOL (men run away... darn it! LOL)

I think my Daddy knew he would have been wasting his breath... but you sure did bring back smiling memories. *S*

HUGS to you and Kaz.... and kisses, too! LOL

Hey ya'll,

Thank you for reading this little poem and - maybe - smiling.  Kaz and I appreciate all of you.
