Saigon Cinnamon

Don't tell me
she doesn't remember
where she came from...
She likes to drink
Saigon cinnamon
with her coffee
early in the morning
when she see's
her boyfriend
off to work.
He doesn't speak
much Vietnamese
and she doesn't speak
fluent English,
but they speak the
universal language of love.
Close by lives her Mom
with a man that took her in
when her husband lost his
fight with throat cancer.
Life goes on,
God will provide
for this family,
surely He will,
thats how she feels,
this young lady
from Saigon.

Sounds like this is a reality-based poem. If so, I wish everyone concerned everything they want in life.

~*~ He did not wear his scarlet coat,
For blood and wine are red,
And blood and wine were on his hands
When they found him with the dead--Wilde ~*~

Life goes on,
God will provide
for this family,
surely He will,
thats how she feels,

She remembers both where she came from... and what's important. *S* Enjoyed!
