Through anger you dispel your pain,
Your words hurt me like arrows,
Degrading myself worth down to nothingness,
At times we are wonderful as one,
But then the fights come on, the verbal abuse,
I walk away for you, for I have learned to do in that in the past
Never have I held up my fist or my mouth to my mom,
I try to do the same with you, to let you be and let myself bleed,
Inside I feel as I have made the wrong choice, of cleaving too much,
Often, I wither away feeling lonely and sad, when you speak ill to me,
Call me a 30 year old child, a man who is just a boy,
I do not defend myself in the same manner as you wish me to,
For I know one way, and that is to walk away….

I speak insanity. I write fantasy. I sleep reality.

"For I know one way, and that is to walk away…."

Sometimes that works best.
Enjoyed the write.

Walk away... and continue walking.

I know... it's never that easy. In some situations, you can only do the best you can and protect yourself however you can.

Powerful write!!
