Love is a vagabond. Point it in
the direction you want it
to take; love hesitates taking
directions. Love is a groin quirk,
                    n'er a solution.
Sssh . . . the moon is gone again.
Talk of the vague love thing
puts the fragile moon ill at ease.
It is reminded of its doleful duties.
                    Lovers Point.
I stand, my knees weak from
squatting for so long. The
night is August warm. Stifling.
Even the breeze is gone.
                    Humidity death.
Why do thoughts of despair
come when you are all alone?
Unable to talk it out with
someone; left on your own.
                    Decision time.

"Why do thoughts of despair
come when you are all alone?"

Nice Jerry.
Is there ever an answer to that?
I guess it depends on the personality and circumstances.

Thank you, Lori, I appreciate your kind words.

So true, JL, it is the variables within each of us that grab the intellect and gives us pause to think.

We have less to distract ourselves when we are by ourselves, our dispair is harder to avoid.

I have to agree, Lori, the snakes attack when our defenses are lulled.

Gut check time, crying time... gnashing of teeth, wailing, the whole shebang. I'm familiar with the what and when even if I don't know why.
