I would write about
our great romance.
Things like:
The first time
you asked me to dance,
that first kiss,
"our song,"
the way you broke my heart
when it all went wrong.
I would write about
the one I can't forget...
Had we met.

Ya had me going, Ida, until the "Had me met." (Maybe its "we" instead of "me?"

A very likable poem with a catch. Those are the best kind.

The "what ifs" in life leave me with a sense of wonder.
Your poem is full of grace and a special kind of tenderness.

Lovely thoughts, Ida~

Awe... An inspiring look into the questioning heart.  I am a hopeless romantic.  I believe that "someone" is out there for everone, and one should never give up hoping for that meeting.  Here's hoping.

I adore your acumen, dear Ida. And I bet you have met , but I guess the heart has not been broken and isn't that a good thing!

Whatever you write about, you do it in your own special creative way. Always a pleasure to read you.

Love,
Margherita

Enjoyed your poem Ida,
I think you can see through those "had we ever met" men,
Do you give classes in this? LOL
