My car has been alone
For just about a year
It won't start nor make a noise
Reminds me of Balladeer

Has no heat or antifreeze
It just won't do a thing
I think its gonna "Rust in Peace"
It's gray but turning green. (Like Balladeer)

Think of Balladeer the great
That's really good for nothing,
It sits and leaks and passes gas,
For Toerag to write something.

I can't write those pretty words
Like Balladeer does so easy
But my words are sweet and very nice
And his are simply sleazy.

Kill a bug, trap a mouse
Cut down poor Toerag,
Talk about his days long gone
And all the sheep he's had.

But I'm such a nice--forgiving guy
With looks and class and such,
I love old 'deer' with all my heart
Though he's mean to me so much.

So listen ladies, those who know
About how sweet I am
There's only one poor ragged out Toe
That's really worth a damn.

(Okay, the poem sucks as usual, but I'm on drugs, (I take two or three or four pain pills every morning just in case I get hurt later in the day), preventive medicine yanno? Besides, Balladeer may try to hurt my feelings and with these great pain pills I have no feelings).

Toe's a nice, forgiving guy
Who puts up with so much
From that mean ole Balladeer,
And bugs and sheep and such.

We all know how sweet Toe is
Of that there is no doubt
But what has he been up to,
Where's he been hanging out?

We won't let Deer be too mean
And it sure is a gift
To see that Toerag's name in here
(Gives my spirits a lift!)

As you write your purty words
"Complimenting" Deer
This gal's face will wear a smile
I sure am glad you're here!

You've been mightily missed, Toe!!!!

but I'm partial to your footnote.  Haha footnote, ain't that just like a toerag.

Thanks for the laughs and sharing your good hearted nature.
Take good care of yourself and your toe~
You're a class act yanno.

Toerag's such a scallywag
As bad as he can be,
Just read between the lines,
I'm sure that you will see.

He really loves our Balladeer
I know, he told me so.
Who do you think put that bow
Upon his great big toe?

Those two are really buddies
Best of friends right from the start.
Using their wit and wisdom
Has joined them at the

It warms my heart on this cold night to read your words - you are loved you nutcase!

Giggled through your poem as always, Toerag.  Very sorry to hear about the need for the painkillers.  I sense they are real and not part of your usual joking.

okay, I see 'deer' didn't reply, perhaps working on a bit of sarcasm? Hi gang, not been doing terribly well, been in hospital for a long long time till they got tired of the poems on the bathroom wall. The one over the prophylactic machine saying "This is the worst chewing gum I've ever tasted, reminds me of hospital food" kinda peeved them off I think? Hope all are fine and will try to visit more often.....Luv yall

I must admit, though, I am lost since you have disappeared.
It's been so long I can't remember last time you got "deered".
Been missin' my old punching bag. The place ain't been the same.
Of all the poets here, there just ain't no one quite as lame.

I hope to God it ain't my fault you're in intensive care.
Nobody would forgive me if they knew I put you there.
I'm sure the nurses and the doctors want to see you go.
No doubt they've seen sick puppies but none quite as sick as Toe.

Every cockroach has it's niche to hide from bugman's spray.
Every bat must have it's cave to hide from light of day.
Come on back and sit a spell and join us when you can.
The world calls you degenerate but, to us, YOU DA MAN!!!!

My dear, sweet Toe...

I've been remiss in reading daily
and that is why I've missed you lately
for work and such is a beggar's end
and for your eyes, I won't pretend!

I knew you were back, for the blue pages sung
of the gifted child, the one who had brung
old man 'Deer from outside his hole
you know the ones, the 9 and 18th goal!

Sweet, sweet Toe, I'm sorry to hear
that you must take meds to control your fear
or is it too much laughter you must contain?
to think 'Deer might write poems deranged?

Now I must go and hide my shine
'cause for both of you I have aligned
my poetic self, for I think you are cast
to be blues pages' heros, and my poetry

sucks.

Suthern, Sunshine, Dr. Moose,
and of course that damned old "Deer"
To Ron Carnell and all the rest,
I lift my mug of beer.

I will be back and in fine tune,
Like a well tuned old guitar,
(Missing frets and strings and chords,
Like my poetry...leaves scars).

Know ya all have been behaved,
(You've had no bad influence),
But I'll come back and corrupt,
And be a Toerag nuisance).

So until then yall have fun,
As the holidays approach,
And remember I still love ya all,
And Balladeer that ROACH!

Yammean that angel's your sweetheart?
No wonder you have been apart
From these poetic pages blue...
You're skeered of what suthern will do!!!

I'd swear I was the first in line!
I'll moan, I'll cry, I'll sulk, I'll whine
If Earth Angel's now in my place
(And if it's Deer... that's a disgrace!) LOL

It sure is good to see you here
Pokin' fun at Balladeer
And making all the ladies swoon
I sure hope that you come back soon!!!
