I like it when the word love doesn't get in the way and make things more intense taking all the fun out of it I like it when I can say I like you . . . and it be true which in many cases the "love" word makes you lie I like it that I have nothing to prove no challenge facing me to establish myself which so many times is a recipe for failure I like it that we can be ourselves tell each other secrets knowing it won't come back to us in the form of rebuke or thrown up for spite I like it when when all I have to say is . . . that I like you ©November 2, 2011 / Jerry Pat Bolton They will come back, come back again, As long as the red earth rolls. I like it that we can be ourselves tell each other secrets knowing it won't come back to us in the form of rebuke or thrown up for spite I hope it can be that way always... regardless of what words are used. This is beautiful!!! |
