Looking forward
to another day
It hasn’t always been
that way
I was a dead head
staying in bed
with dread
and foreboding
But now blue pages
wait to greet my
sleepy eyes
As the coffee drips
and I read my Pips
I write my regards
My eyes and heart
open wide
as I feel all the love
warmth and humor
inside

LOL @ the no dusting... you almost had me snorting my coffee... and I need it more than my screen does! LOL

I doubt he hears it, but I thank Ron every day for these blue pages and the treasured friends I've found here... I might drift away at times, but I always find my way back.

Yes, they exercise a very strong attraction, so true. As soon as I can I want to peek in and see what's new ... and always we find words that enrich us, uplift us, involve us on the emotional level. And we find inspiration too. Some lovely gifts indeed!
