The common word for devil's help
is luck, don't you agree?
Good luck is getting, right on time,
the things you want to see.

But when you know your help is coming,
from the Lord above;
it's not the devil's luck at all,
but portions of God's love.

To pray and ask for others,
all the things you know they need;
but brag not when it happens,
God has planted you as seed.

Praying is man's best defence,
from trouble and from strife;
planting love is growing shown,
on this tall tree of life.

Believe in Jesus, then you'll see,
your problems will increase;
for satans trying with his might,
to make your praying cease.

When he causes doubt and fear,
the devil knows he's winning;
and if he can, he'll try his best,
to make you think you're sinning.

Want and greed is all he needs,
to show his earthly power;
but when you pray and give your love,
you're in your finest hour.

Jesus knows the times are bad,
the ones you're going though;
He gave us hope and showed the way,
His grace and love are true.

Seven come eleven is the devils
prayer for certain;
to hang before mans greedy face
his earthly power curtain.

So when you hear someone rejoyce
at making lucky seven;
just say you'll wait to have your luck,
the day you get to Heaven.
