Fair to middlin' of nowhere

A sense of solitude
as others slumber soft
Me to my self's
mischievous mind
mingling words
and rhymes
Time seems
swift and sacred
Scattered whispers
to collect
and protect
within this fleeting
before sunrise

Honestly composed, giving in to your inner self in the early part of the day when the mind is full of words and phrases needing, and wanting to be released. And when you release them they are a delight to read.

I wrote that earlier and easier than my PIP comments.  Amazing...I was all thumbs and thick headed trying to comment.  Thanks for yours Jerry, it was very insightful

"A sense of solitude

A nice way to start the day!
Well, if you add in a cup of coffee too.
Enjoyed your musing.

JL that is part of the fleeting...waiting on the coffee to brew...it is almost a sacred ritual.

I love the moments right before dawn, when all is quiet and still.  There is a true peace there, albeit fleeting...

Enjoyed this one.

Thanks Michael. Maybe that is where the term "it dawned on me" came from.
