A patient came to see me with
a dreadful malady
He sang " Geen Grass of Home" all day
I said "It seems to me,"

"that you have Tom Jones syndrome, son,
not rare, but terrible."
"Because as far as illnesses,
it's not unusual."

#1:
"Who'da believed you'd come along?"

After reading your verses:

"It's not unusual to see me cry,
oh I wanna' die"

"no matter what you say
you find it happens all the time"

LOL...
I think you have too much time on your hands.
Or is it too many songs in your head?

Enjoyed!!

JL,
Thanks, lol, songs , voices, all the same. It does get a little confusing.
Doc

Sunshine,
Lol, while I was able to google Tom Jones and find he did sing "Sweet Caroline" you are of course right in that being a Neil Diamond song. I've adjusted the poems title and song title accordingly to avoid any further confusion. Mea culpa.
Doc

suthern,
Thanks , lol, looks like I messed this one up "All by Myself".
Doc

Lori,
Thanks lol, yeah, ol' Tom kinda deserves to be made "pun" of for that one.

Balladeer,
M'friend, lol, I'm going to take a wild guess at a couple sandwhiches short of a picnic.
