Forgive me, for saying I love you Forgive me, for making you believe it's true Forgive me, I didn't mean to do it Forgive me, it's not you who I wanted Forgive me, for calling your name Forgive me, for playing this game Forgive me, for making you go insane Forgive me, i'm the one to blame Forgive me, for breaking your heart Forgive me, for tearing you apart Forgive me, for leaving you in the dark Forgive me, for making it so hard Forgive me, I didn't want us to end this way Forgive me, I didn't want to take your dreams away Forgive me, If I could only make things right again Forgive me, for making you put your life to its end Forgive me, for making you cry Forgive me, it was all a lie Forgive me, I didn't want you to die Forgive me, I really thought there could be YOU and I.. Some games are dangerous and there can be consequences that hurt. In your powerful forgiveness prayer-poem this situation is well expressed. Sometimes we don't know what we do, more awareness is needed yes! And yet to be able to apologize is an act of humility that plants the seeds of healing. M |
