I am home
This is the town
In which I live

Red and yellow
It is autumn
Orange leaves
And pumpkins
How good it feels
The cool blue air

And where are you
Who should be beside me
While squirrels gather
And sparrows fly
From tree to tree

Who could not value
For more than a day or two
All the love I had for you

Defaulting instead
To bad company

beautiful piece my friend...of course the "default" while maybe not exactly what you'd like, is Your choice of company.

To live in a place and to be able to call it HOME is a priceless gift.

Beautiful.
