I could write you a love poem, but what would I fill it with? How you ignore me? How you reject me? How you yourself search for men and have another? Would I fill it with... The absence of your eyes? the absence of your touch? the absence of your voice? the way we used to hold each other as I try to fill your place, find your replacement It has become a revolving door of women these seeming soulless boring uninteresting women How many have there... been? Jo, ja nevim. I don't know, I lost count at 1,2... ten. 2 more, just this weekend and 2 more scheduled for this week 1 I already know won't work They all want a repeat date and then... (sigh) Why do I try? Why do I even meet them? Is it really better than being alone? Paying for someone's dinner and movie just to have someone to talk to and the possibility of... (sigh) Wait wait So, what is a man to do? |
