I watched her on the side of the sky lit sun
where the hills said I loved her
but the rows of seas seem to falter

Long ashes, eyelashes, scattered along the highway road
her jeans, tight as the long winding road
that led up to the coastal reef
down towards the urban homes

The storm surged through me
like the scope of a patchy sky
as the sun fought through to defy the odds

Her hand rested on the porches rail
as she stared across into the distant sail
Her light peach tank-top slightly covering her blue, tight jeans
and as she stepped forward with her toes breathing freely
She felt the wind bare my breathe against her soft laden chest

She softly folded her clothes on the arm of her chair adjacent to her bedroom window
weightless in motion, naked and soft spoken
She slipped into her sheets,
my hands over her shoulder.

This bends and sways so beautifully, as if you polished the sunset leaving it to shine on the horizon.

Your title is lovely and your poem, a pure pleasure to read.

A beautifully painted portrait.

I always pause when I have a chance to view the sun rise or set... pausing now in view of this one.
