the ventriliquist reads
haiku for dummies

I turn off
dancing with the stars
and serenade the moon!

sidewalk book sale
the kid's lemonade
the best-seller

*sad, but with e-books, hardly anyone buys printed books anymore. I was at a recent sidewalk book sale and no one was buying books but everyone was buying the kid's Lemonade--the best-seller!!!

whodunit novel
the bookworm
ate the killer!

*this actually happened! I bought this mystery novel--and when I got near the end when the author was to reveal the plot (the killer) these bookworms had eaten into the final 3 pages so bad that it obscured the identity of the killer!

vintage photographs
grandpa's physique
sexier than mine!

*have you ever seen these old photos where your parents or uncle & aunts are YOUR age and how sexy they looked! My sister once remarked --after viewing vintage photos of her grandmother: "Wow! Grandma's legs were sexier than mine!"
