He was the stalwart of the two,
She was fragile, a little blue.
He was strong,
She was delicate,
Opposites attract,
They should mate,
Both were much too shy,
To live alone was their fate.

So close and yet so far...I like this, it has a limerick quality to it almost.

Glad I went digging today...  This one says so much with but a few words.  There are those who look in all the wrong places... then there are those who never look.  Personally, I think the second is the sadder of the two, having never really lived at all.

Great poem.
