At Home in Praha

The world spun around
it stuttered and stopped for a moment
on Beijing, Peking, China

and in that moment 7,500 miles away
the Earth began to crack
under a heart that was breaking

of a man
in a city he loves
the heavens opened
a light shined above him

angels were moving
all to get him to stay
where he wanted

but up from that crack
a devil crawled
stole a wallet
and caused the man to fall

all his hopes and dreams
streamed down the drain, from his eyes
through the cracks in Charles Bridge

splashing swiftly, spiraling quickly
into the Vlatava

and here lay the man
in the sound and in the sand
with dreams, as time once again, begins
and the world started to spin

slowly, normally

he will rise again

but with whom and how
it doesn't matter much, because
needing to be kissed so tenderly

He is where he wants to be

for now...
