yep, you said it. Right to the point Jerry as always. It struck me when you said complacence because they say "don't let the terroist win by showing fear" Isn't that what complacence looks like? Isn't that a false sense of security we fall into? Good write my friend

Thank you Ice. We are and it is killing me to watch what is taking place in Washington. It started before Hussein, but it is completely out of control now.

Thank you, Ida. I blame a lot of people for America's complacency. Hollywood. Politicians. News Media. And a growing number of U.S. citizens who have been taught by the public school system to HATE America.

They will not, dear Jerry, if the circle of violence can be stopped. Indeed the chill grips our hearts, as you say so powerfully, when we remember and continue to see actions rooted in hate.

"Religious" fundamentalism that induce to kill in the name of the Creator (whatever name we give Him), is the worst wound in human hearts that needs to be healed.

All healing occurs through one tool that comprises: love, justice, compassion. No complacence in that.

May we all awaken to love.
