     Shimmer-frost Moon

A shimmer-frost moon
gleams through
ragged clouds and
the whispering rain
of falling leaves
in this twilight Autumn
  forest breeze
to settle in reflected
splendor on the deep,
cold lake of blissful
  serenity.
Be silent and listen
with calm mind and clear
  heart
to the quiet voice of wisdom
in all transience and change
down the ever-rolling seasons.
