Listening to every heart

Good Memories

Days from now your eulogy was given,
But years from now, I will still enliven
The moments past, the memories swell
Of how we met, of how we dwelled
Together.

Visits, visits, momentary meets
Eating, loving engagements sweet
Introducing you to friends
Only to find you knew her when…
Together.

I wanted to visit your site today
But the weather was iffy, as if to say
“stay home, stay home” there will be
Another time to mark our say.
Together.

A poet remarked upon a poem
Pushed it up, remanding “home”
Bless her heart, she heard your notes
My only sorrow, duets never wrote
Together.

You knew my Martie, serenity, others
and you loved my way of prose
Finally you decided to be less severe,
And listened to my voice,
As we spoke, together.

But today I am minding my lines
Still trying to find my voice,
As I hear you talking in my ear,
Decidedly, and with choice,
Together.

People are telling me, get on with life
But it was better with you, and now
The tempo strikes its wrong
And as one, I will walk alone
Together.

Tears, Karilea.  I didn't know her, except through you since her passing.  Thank you on her behalf and on mine, for writing about her.

A lovely addition to the series.
Your talent brings out the best of words, even with the worst kinds of topics...remembering words of Dylan Thomas, death has no dominion, especially when a good poet gets involved with that process.

Dear Karilea, this is extremely poignant, written with your heart combined with your first class skills.

The soul connection can't be broken.

Love,
Margherita

A special thing it is to meet Passion's poet or poetess!  I never knew her, but I "have met" a.talented Kansas poetess who has made a lasting impression me.  Sweet memories.

I enjoyed your lovely tribute.  I bet she would have enjoyedit a lot.

Sunshine,
"Minding your lines", and minding your friends, how fitting. Be well.

Karliea...Together you will always be in heart,mind & soul...Paul

She whispers your name
upon cool Fall nights

She touches your heart
on hot Summer days

She feels your warm love
on cold Winter nights

She embracrs Spring flowers

Paul,

how grateful am I to have such good friends
and even more so for those that leave poetic
touches on someone's breast who meant so much
to me.

Louise is smiling.

And lest anyone think that there was more
than just friendship here; No....but she was
a poet in her heart, and grew this poet to
be MORE, and she continues to whisper her
thoughts to me, through friends like you.

Karilea
