we spoke of doors and windows and walls
and how they are sentimental sentinels
protecting us from that flavor of wings
that makes us advertise with our saliva

you might have chosen the unknown of stone
something your back could feel behind
where no one could touch your soul
or that film you wear over your sins

but the windows were open upon arrival
and the scent of tomorrow stirred you
so you left the door just slightly ajar
and stood with the sun nude behind

your lipstick was a smile lingering of sighs
when you covered your eyes pretending
your fingers were those venation blinds
that kept me from knowing who was looking

and how long you took with your kneading

You draw your stories so well with word colors, that are unknown mostly and that only you mix so masterfully into new shades.

Intriguing piece and as captivating as it gets.
