Drawing silence down on
wings of indigo black,
night descends upon hearts,
dreaming delights,drenched by
autumn sunshine to come.
As gold, leaf and
love remain eternal,third
season bellows flame hues,
smouldering through long winter
nights,cold carpets clean
with snow, union confirmed.
Facing fresh future winds,
like clouds flying free.

Friendship is Love without his wings. Lord Byron.

Exquisite poem, dear Phil, the seasons seem to merge so beautifully like in a watercolor painting!

Love,

I really like this.  It's one of the best autumn poems that I have read.

A beautiful, seasonal poem. I enjoyed reading
this preamble of things to shortly come.

Come read to me some poem,
Some simple and heartfelt lay,
That shall soothe this restless feeling
And banish the thoughts of day.
Longfellow

Often I wonder if two clouds were tied together, would they circle endlessly through time.  Nice write.
