When Balladeer played baseball he
would always play first base
And, really was quite good at it
but layed the turf to waste

So Coach would make him plant grass seed
where he'd worn the ground bare
Though seeded after every game
still nothing would grow there

The star first baseman Balladeer
just wouldn't give up, you see
I hear he's still there to this day
as he explained to me

"Coach told me if at first I don't
suck, seed," you see my friends
"but that damn grass just will not grow,
I've tried and tried again!"

JL,
Thanks. I see you've been around since 2004. My friend Balladeer and I have been trading jibes almost as long as PIP has been here. Hopefully, we'll try to keep people entertained for a great many years to come.
