Timely Thoughts

Found this gift from a poet gone
with words that touch the mind.
A time-pieced once when need was there.
The words a golden find:

"Our Moments Are Only Seconds
Of A Lifetime" inside, scrolled.
And next to it a tiny vial
containing nuggets, gold.

Many gifts received from friends
that stay within heart's hold
reminding me of "once upons"
in poems to be retold.

Timely Thoughts is right.
And sometimes it is a good idea to soak up those thoughts and hold on to them for reflection.
