Sitting here,
Or if sitting over there,
Just somewhere,
I don’t care.
Before a wall or a window
In day light
Or all night,
Watching electric lights glow;
No one calls
None at all,
People are just a gray shadow,
So I stare
And watch as they come and go.

Gloom

You've certainly lived up to your name here, Gloom but I still love your melancholy poetry.

Enjoyed your poem.  May I suggest that you phone and invite somebody to visit you - or that you go and visit somebody instead?  I truly mean well, but would also dare to suggest that you dare to give one big smile to one person today and see what happens?
