Two and yet One

So early to get started
So young to be two
who failed
who was true,
Two and yet One.

First one city
then another
Adventure takes over,
Two and yet One

Love flowing from
your veins
Love lasting forever
however in vane,
Two and yet One.

Man makes a choice
never thinking
of His voice
Believe and wait,
Two and yet one.

His blessing upon your fruit
His timing not your own
Listen carefully
do not miss the bliss
yet to come,
Two and yet one.

You took on the time(mis)honored heartache and break of two and yet one, ebonygirl, if I am reading this very well-written poem correctly. I think I am. When I read these poems that point fingers at two and yet one I cringe, because of my misconduct through the years to make two and yet one happen. At least I have learned to face up to who I was then and who I am now.
