In the death of 1000 cuts, Sir,
some may win, some may lose,
but then were
you opposed to a challange as this?
I've a feeling that something's amiss.

Whither goest m'friend,
I've a blade, she's as sharp as the day
as was made,
and I've yet many arrows to sling
yet await promised torment you'd bring.

While all Pipdom doth languish for fuel
to continue our poetic duel.

And then he swiftly pulled off his glove and slapped him smartly across the face...

Well done sir.

It's play time, but I think he failed to hear the recess bell, Doc! LOL You know he'll claim he's been busy and won't admit he's just "skeered" LOL

It's nice to know you're well prepared for the skirmishes, whenever they may come to pass! *smile*

Lori,
Lol, I thought if I posted some really, really terrible verse it would flush him out, if for no other reason than to tell me how bad it was. Oh well, I see this as an opportunity to continue the assault, as soon as I get some time, lol.
Doc

suthern,
Lol, I'm sure you're right about him being busy, but not too sure about the "skeered" part. When he finds time, I'd like to think the fun will continue.

Thought the title was "The Death of 1000 Cats" -- then I put on my glasses and realized that my tears were in vane (vein? vain?  I think "vain" - oh well, glad that cats are okay).

Alison,
Lol, the cats are fine as long as they don't read this, it's probably one of my worst.

Actually, I like the metaphor, Doc.

It's a helluva being who can count cuts beyond five hundred, much less a thousand.

My take on it was probably a darker aspect than intended, though.

Probably.

Doth thou bring Pipdom joy and pleasure to the ear of thy reader?
Yea, says I...

Three cheers for Number One:

PIP PIP hooray!
PIP PIP hooray!
PIP PIP hooray!
