It is no gift to see your arms on mine
Rather, a miracle
That leaves you enjoying the ride

We are our own
Through blood and dirt
Through tears and fears
We are our own

We dance until life is awake, again
Where sadness can overwhelm the rivers
The laughter that bellies from all walks of life

To dance until we hold one another
For life is our greatest fate
It is our last reprieve
For the sky to beckon the wind
Reckon with the sun to show its face one more time

Our own
This and the land.
