"own sole born loser"

Somehow I sorta identify with those depressing woids.

lol JP, I was just hoping she wasn't referring to me in that line.

AS usual, you say much with very little, K.

I'm just wondering if that cloud is carrying a humungous lightning bolt in his back pocket?

Gentle Lady...of course your skies are always blue...you live in the land of OZ!

Gentle Men...I won't say "if the shoe fits" because as we age, feet swell, so most nothing fits ever right for the whole day. Actually, this is a vision that greeted me at 0:stillearly when I went in to work today. I swear this cloud was SO low to the ground that I could have made my nearly 60 year old bones jump...and touch the danged thing. And just the way it morphed along I could have sworn it was in search...and then of course the usual numbing cliches  skimmed my brain and I tried to find a way to give it new life.

That's my story, and I'm sticking to it!

You are something else, inspried by a cloud no less,  and you DID give it new life.

How delightful this is!!

Sissie...if you blow real hard maybe it will come this way.  I'd love a good raincloud...but it has to be good.

Dear Sunshine,
Three beautiful lines that compel contemplation and through the cloud your own sunshine radiates.

Spiros, there is always more,
but the day I wrote this, it
was enough.

Bluesie, I'm easy to amuse... LOL...

Martie, when one can stand surrounded by
a cloud and be lifted by it? Pure joy!

Thank you, Marcia. Those are very kind words.

K, I'd venture to say the new life you gave it far exceeded the old one... Not only in brilliance, but the old has passed but this one rages on.

I think it found my sister's yard. *S* She was sitting on her carport this afternoon when she thought her house had exploded behind her. Fortunately, the house is okay, but lightning struck the tree in back... Parts of the tree are all over the neighborhood.

As it happened, a tree removal crew was working 2 houses down... They quickly gave an estimate of $2500 to remove the remains. My sis is grateful they're all okay... but a wee bit grumpy over the unexpected expense! *S*

You say so much in so few words... and I say nothing with many. LOL Loved the poem, though!

I know there is a silver lining in that grey cloud.
Enjoyed, Sunshine,

Fine writing, poetic observation!
