.

Look at the books
In the pasture

Someone again
Has been trying
Against all nature
Previous evidence
Another leap of faith
Despite the facts
A forlorn dream

Summer flies
Over small brown hills
Sunlight simmers
No cows over
The silver moon

What is it the poet wrote
I am grass I cover all

Ah poor Orpheus cracking voice
Fingers worn down to the bone
For you it can’t be too soon

Well done, Huan

"Another leap of faith
Despite the facts
A forlorn dream"

Ties right into the tale of Orpheus... one of my favorites, btw.

Better to be too soon, or too late?  Now that's a dilemma.

Good write.
