They sat where only the tears could hear them cry
The hold of her eyes
Much like the oval drops onto her mothers soft skin.

His voice began to cackle
As the ruins of the town
Began to turn to dust

She necked his skin, slowly
Like the night of the sea turning into it's calm wake.
His tired cheeks softened,
With each finger placed onto his dark, brown skin

The fire was at ease
As the children began to sleep

His lips paused her thoughts
Slowly beginning at the top of her mouth and didn't rest until the fire lost sight of her fair skin.

When the night gave way to dawn
Her tears were dry
Patches still seen along the cuffs of his flannel, red shirt.

As always, very beautiful, but even more so with this one, Tomer.
