Fair to middlin' of nowhere

Isn't it funny how
at a different time and place
in my life
I would have been enjoying
the absence of my mate
The time and space
to myself
would have been a luxury
of serenity
free of strife
But now
with you
love has found
it's rightful place
I'm never in a hurry
to see you go
and when you're gone
time passes much too slow

simple and the better for it-i enjoyed it
Surely the purpose of writing is to communicate.Unless of course one is writing inorder to try and unravel ones' own thoughts
