Listening to every heart

             Backflash

What…
                             flash
Hush…
                             sounds
But
                             flickers
Shhhhh
                             scents
Moments
                             sighs
There
                             breezes
Oceans
                             depths
Blues
                             greens
Darkness
                             warmth
Dejá
                             you

Had to study it for a while, before I could absorb the whole. Once I did that the essence of it all came together.

I've read this a few times now, K.  It's elegant, and quite intriguing.  One almost anybody is able to dive into and connect dots, and personalize.  I know I did.  Would love to be able to peek into your mind and spy out the inspiration for this.

Dear Sunshine,
I read your poem in several different ways,
(1st across in zigzag line, then, down each column).
Each time I read it, the poem evoked greater emotion.
I LOVED IT!

Very creative writing, Sunshine. Love the thought process gone into this one. Fine writing.

I'm very pleased that a lot of you were able to interpret this poem for yourselves, and perhaps be part of it in your own way.

Note to Michael...you really don't want to walk in that quagmire, my friend...you never know what you're going to find.

Thank you all for taking a moment to share me with you.

Spiros, thank you so much, but I do not believe this a new genre, more of listening to both sides of the brain, perhaps? Where dreams start, and reality stops? Vice versa? I'm not sure, but I've been here/there in this "voice" if we could call it such...I've experienced the moments of deja vu, and can easily recall such moments back to the age of two. Certain moments still remain in the brain and I can "see" them quite easily.

Sissie...thank you...but you already know all about me...and still, you remain.
