I remember way back when,
A real hot summer, when I was but ten,
Farmers fed chickens, shaved ice every day,
'Cause if'n they didn't, hard boiled eggs they would lay,
Corn started poppin', out in the field,
Cattle thought it was snowin', they froze and was killed,
Folks ate Jalapenos, so they could cool down,
Car tires started meltin', all over town,
Fire hydrants were fightin', over my poor dog Spot,
As I was sayin', that summer was hot,
So don't be a whinin', 'bout how hot it is now,
Unless you're a seein', a popcorn covered dead cow.

Only up to 106 today, a cold front must of came through.

lol.  Yup, it's HOT, but it has been hotter.  Lucky for me, I was born in '67 though.  Missed out on the '62 heatwave.

I don't know how you all live in the heat, but you do seem to retain your senses of humor.  I like this one, Tim.

I'd trade ya the heat of summer for my Canadian winters any day. Only good reason for frigid temperatures is the excuse to cuddle for body heat.
