Daddy?
Yes.
Do you love me?
Yes, of course.
Really?
You know I do.
I guess.
You silly girl, you; you're my Princess.
You love me better than you love Mommy?
Daddy?
Daddy, did you hear me?
Yes.
Well?
Yes.
W-e-l-l, do you?
Yes, I love you more than I love Mommy.
Princess, what's wrong, you look ready to cry?
Mommy said you didn't.
Didn't what, Sweetheart?
Love me.
But I do, Honey.
I guess.
You guess?
Uh, huh.
You don't believe me?
Uh.
Princess, I love you.Why can't you understand?
Because.
Because why?
Why did you leave me and Mommy then?
Oh, dear.
Mommy said you didn't love me.
I . . .
That's why you left.
That's not true though you know that isn't true, Princess.
Mommy said . . .
It was her I left, Princess, not you.
You didn't take me with you though, so you must have left me, Daddy.
You're breaking my heart.
Mommy cried, and I did too.
Please, Princess, you must understand.
Yeah, uh huh, I think I do.
Oh, thank you for that.
You went off with your secretary, Mommy said.
We, uh, we loved each other, Princess.
Why come, Daddy, when you had Mommy and me?
You don't understand, it's a grownup thing.
I guess not.
I'm so sorry I caused you pain.
But Daddy, you never came back again.
I know, I know, I--
That's why Mommy ran into that train.
Yes, I know, I heard.
Just before it crashed into us, Mommy said a nasty and called your name.
I looked for you and the secretary at the funeral.
Well, un, Honey, we just couldn't come.
Even when the coffins were put into the ground, I looked for you.
Oh, Daddy, don't look so sad, I'm not really mad, silly.
There is one thing I would like to ask, Princess.
What, Daddy?
How long do I have to wait here?
You mean here at the gate?
Yes, how long?
That's why I've been sent to tell you.
Oh?
Yes.
So, how long?
You have to leave now, Daddy.
Leave?I just got here.
But there was a mix-up, Daddy.
How's that?
This is Heaven, Daddy, you can't stay, you have to take the elevator down.

Ouch Jerry...that stirred up some painful emotions (sniff, sniff) I liked the twist at the end.

Not at all what I expected by the title,
Jerry. It was so much more.

Raw...and well done.
