Fair to middlin' of nowhere

0 posted 2011-07-26 10:54 AM

I wish that I could say
to hell with
obligations
Work and relatives
will just have to do
without me
I wish that I was packing
for a trip
to be with you
there and traveling
all the sights to see
just you and me
I wish that I would be
beside you
every night
hugged and held tight
instead of my heart
longing for you
I wish that I was going
along with
you my sweet love
Work and relatives
having to do
without me

I wish, too... and you've written the longing beautifully! *S*

Yeah, the prayer of those who have to be left behind. The "wanting" is your words are very apparent.

I sish I could tell you what sweet comfort I feel when reading your poems, how they are always there for me to reread when I'm felling a bit too lonely.

just remember you're both under the same moon . . . and if you agree upon a time, and you both grab a moment of solitude then, and look at the moon...surprising what you can see, hear, feel ... heartbeats, whispers, breath on your cheek, lips brushing your. . . .momentarily, but true.

I believe you J., sounds like a brilliant idea,..to me anyway...may sound a little flakey to him...but he is a good sport about humoring me...
