Saturday Anatomy

Soggy mushy streets lead to a confided space,
Where stranger eyes awaits with fervent face,
Little cracks on those walls carry frames of skin,
Some old masterful hands craft, some wishful sin,

Vacant sockets of her glowing dangling silver skull,
Her long humerus, her sternum, she’s never dull,
Lliac crest swift moves drive observing eyes crazy,
Spinal cord adjoining hollow sacrum like daisy,

Calcium overdose sent me dizzy, muscles were next,
Galea aponeurotica, epicranius, eyes are concave, convex,
My trapezius were yearning for a break, deltoid ache,
Latissimus dorsi stretch, vastus medialis constant shake,

Delicious noon lunch bulge my rectus abdominis front,
Posture study, line strength, heads were just another stunt,
The ultimate moment arrives, with coffee in my hand,
Drapes lit, plaster model. That’s it! Don’t misunderstand.

Thank you for taking time to read and commenting, ebonygirl. Appreciate it.

Yeah, got to love the anatomy workshops on Saturday. After all day of Latin names, all I get to see is a plaster model to draw. I was expecting more, Jerry. Lol.

This makes me smile.  What an interesting poem - and I love that it was born in your anatomy workshop.  It just goes to show that anything can become poetry.  I really like this - and I appreciate you writing and sharing it.
